Gang-Nail Steps Up To The Mark

Gang-Nail Systems is supporting Baird’s Windows in its move to diversify in the current marketplace. In addition to windows, Baird’s are now designing stairs with the help of Consultec StairCon from Gang-Nail Systems.

Compatible for use throughout the complete stair production process, Baird’s Windows is using StairCon specifically for the design and planning stages, providing a virtual overview of the finished stair model.

StairCon is developed for the design, manufacture, and real view 3D visualisation of timber staircases. It is fully compatible with Microsoft Windows XP and Vista, an area that users are already familiar with, making the learning process far easier and quicker, providing a rapid return on investment.

StairCon 3D visualisationEric Baird, Managing Director of Baird’s Windows, has found the incorporation of StairCon has significantly reduced time spent during the design stage, commenting, “Compared to the traditional way in which we were creating these designs, the incorporation of the StairCon software has made it far easier and quicker, thanks to its enhanced capabilities, developed specifically for this type of work. With the time saved using StairCon, we can concentrate on other aspects of our business without compromising on the design or quality of the stair concepts.”

Paul Baron, Managing Director of Gang-Nail Systems, commented, “In difficult financial times such as these, it is encouraging to see that our StairCon software is still in high demand. We work hard to ensure that our customers’ needs are met by regularly updating our software, incorporating their suggestions along the way. As a result, StairCon provides an easy to navigate stair design tool which can save on both time and financial costs, which are especially critical at present.”

Used extensively by manufacturers and joinery companies, StairCon is used for the detailing of timber staircases, producing material schedules, 3D visualisation, manufacturing drawings for manual production along with direct links to industry used CNC machinery. Designed to work for today’s market demands, the package minimises errors caused in the early design stages and also helps to reduce wastage of materials used.
