As we have used Timber Frame software from Gang-Nail Systems for several years and are familiar with the set-up, it was a natural choice to opt for the StairCon and Roof & Truss packages too.” He continued, “Since we started offering this full service, we have seen our workload grow as an increasing number of customers take advantage of the fact that we can offer three key timber production services, all integral to housebuilding projects.” StairCon, which has recently been upgraded to incorporate 15 new features, is specifically developed for the design, manufacture, price estimation and real view 3D visualisation of timber staircases, and is fully compatible with Microsoft® Windows XP and Vista. GN Roof & Truss works in a similar way, offering all the tools needed to create roof and truss layouts and designs and is controlled through Matrix, the complete management suite for manufacturers. “The developments to our software, driven by user groups and constant customer feedback, means that our customers are provided with systems that are in line with the industry so there is never the risk that design and manufacturing processes will fall behind trends and become out dated,” explains Paul Baron, Managing Director of Gang-Nail Systems. He continued, “By using the full range of software available we can provide our customers with a fully integrated approach to timber engineering, improving supply chain efficiency, reducing project management time involved in using more than one supplier, and saving costs.”
