Using Gang-Nail's  Roof & Truss software, Harmony Timber Solutions is now able to offer a complete roof design and truss manufacturing service from their new branch in Canterbury.

The new branch, which comes as the result of a recent acquisition, has allowed Harmony Timber Solutions to save the jobs of twelve staff, making it possible to continue manufacturing trussed rafters alongside the additional manufacture of Gang-Nail's Ecojoists.

Investor, Garrett Dempsey said: "I was aiming to set up in the South East of the UK and through industry sources, I heard there was a possibility of a management buyout happening in the area of Canterbury leading to the creation of Harmony Timber Solutions."

He continued: "To ensure the design and manufacture of trusses proves to be a success, we have taken on Gang-Nail's specialist software to help us serve the needs of our customer base meaning we are able to deliver a complete solution. As a package, Roof & Truss sits well within our offering as it enables us to deliver an outstanding level of service, without the need for a large financial investment to begin."

Gang-Nail's structural roof and truss package is ideal for the design, detailing, estimating, manufacture and 3D visualisation of complex trussed rafter roofs. Direct wall input, the import facility from Gang-Nail's Framing software or layouts direct from architects can help speed up the overall design process. The module itself is also available as a stand alone application for structural engineers and design practices.
